Offline-first Progressive Web App for field data collection across multiple carbon project sites. The app will replace our current KoBoToolbox setup, which cannot handle multi-touchpoint tracking of the same farmer over time (baseline survey, FPIC consent, boundary mapping, implementation, monitoring).
Core features
Offline-first architecture: field teams collect data in areas with zero connectivity, sync when back online
Farmer registry with unique ID, GPS-tagged location, and multi-touchpoint state tracking (5 workflow stages per farmer)
Dynamic forms with ~200 fields per survey (bilingual English/Hindi), conditional logic, and validation
Camera capture with client-side image compression (target: 300 KB per photo, from ~4 MB raw)
GPS point capture with accuracy filtering, and KML/polygon boundary drawing on satellite basemap
Role-based access: field surveyor, supervisor, project admin
Supervisor dashboard: farmer timeline view, submission status, validation queue
Data export to CSV/GeoJSON for downstream MRV processing
