WordPress and WooCommerce Developer

We're looking for an experienced WordPress Developer who enjoys building scalable websites, solving technical challenges, and delivering exceptional user experiences. Responsibilities Develop custom WordPress websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Build and customize WooCommerce stores and eCommerce functionality. Work with Elementor, Divi, ACF, custom themes, and custom plugins. Develop custom WordPress plugins and extend existing functionality. Perform WordPress speed optimization, improve Core Web Vitals, GTmetrix scores, and overall website performance. Optimize websites for WordPress SEO and technical SEO best practices. Configure caching, WP Rocket, image optimization, lazy loading, CDN, and database optimization. Migrate websites, troubleshoot bugs, improve security, and maintain production websites. Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, payment gateways, and marketing tools. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and QA engineers throughout the development process. Occasionally work on Shopify projects, including theme customization and speed optimization. Requirements 4+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer or Full Stack Developer. Strong experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor, and Divi. Excellent knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and MySQL. Experience building custom WordPress themes, plugins, and ACF-based solutions. Solid understanding of WordPress website design and responsive web design. Experience with WordPress speed optimization, Core Web Vitals, GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights, and WP Rocket. Knowledge of WordPress SEO, technical SEO, structured data, and SEO plugins. Experience with WooCommerce API, payment gateways, subscriptions, and custom checkout functionality. Familiarity with Shopify, Shopify theme customization, and Shopify speed optimization is a plus. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with custom API integrations. UI/UX awareness. Experience with Webflow. Git, Docker, CI/CD workflows. Knowledge of website security and performance monitoring.
