Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React + AI) – Build Social Network App

RoboApply.Jobs is looking for an exceptional Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design and build a social networking module within our existing AI-powered job automation platform. (SENDING A LOOM VIDEO IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED FOR LANDING THIS OFFER) Our platform already has an active user base and AI features that help job seekers automate applications, connect with recruiters and hiring managers, and prepare for interviews. We want to add a social layer that encourages engagement, networking, and content sharing while rewarding users with credits that can be used throughout the platform. This is not a simple CRUD application. We are looking for someone who has experience building scalable social products, messaging systems, feeds, user discovery features, and AI-powered applications. Project Scope Build a new Social Network module that includes: User Discovery & Profiles * Public user profiles discoverable by other users * Search and filtering capabilities * Profile viewing and networking features * Connection/follow functionality Messaging / InMail * Direct messaging between users * InMail-style communication * Conversation management * Real-time notifications preferred * Scalable architecture for future growth Social Feed * Create posts * Like, comment, share functionality * Personalized feed experience * Activity tracking * Content moderation considerations Engagement & Rewards System Users earn credits for activities such as: * Building connections * Creating posts * Engaging with content * Growing their network Credits can then be used to: * Auto-apply to jobs * Reach recruiters automatically * Reach hiring managers automatically * Access AI interview preparation features * Unlock additional platform functionality AI Integration Experience building AI-powered features is highly preferred. We want the social experience to complement our existing AI job automation workflows. Current Technology Stack * React (Frontend) * Existing production application with active users * Additional stack details will be shared during interviews Required Experience Must Have * 5+ years of Full-Stack Engineering experience * Strong React expertise * Experience building scalable web applications * Experience designing APIs and backend services * Strong database design skills * Experience implementing authentication and user management * Experience building messaging/chat functionality Highly Preferred * Experience building social networks, professional networking platforms, community products, or social feeds * Experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, Socket.io, Firebase, etc.) * Experience with AI/LLM integrations * Experience building engagement, gamification, or rewards systems * Startup experience What We Want to See When applying, please include: 1.
