WordPress Web Designer / Developer (Part-Time Freelancer)

Description: Scale My Meal Prep is looking for a reliable WordPress Web Designer / Developer to assist with ongoing website updates and edits for a small number of client websites. Most of our clients are built on Shopify, however we currently have a handful of WordPress clients requiring more advanced website modifications that go beyond basic content updates. This is an ongoing freelance opportunity for someone who is comfortable working independently, communicating clearly, and implementing website changes efficiently. Responsibilities: -Make website edits and updates on WordPress websites -Modify page layouts and website sections -Troubleshoot website issues and bugs -Work with themes, plugins, forms, and integrations -Implement design changes provided by our team -Ensure websites remain responsive across desktop and mobile devices -Communicate progress and timelines clearly Requirements: -Strong experience with WordPress -Comfortable working with Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or similar builders -Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and troubleshooting -Experience working with plugins, forms, and website integrations -Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision -Strong attention to detail Nice To Have: -Experience with WordPress -Experience with website speed optimization -Experience with custom CSS and minor PHP edits -Agency experience Commitment_ -Ongoing freelance relationship -Approximately 2–4 hours per week to start -Opportunity for additional work as more WordPress clients are added
