Front-End & UX Developer for RegTech Compliance Platform - AML Meter

AML Meter is a RegTech compliance solution focused on AML, CDD, screening, and risk assessment workflows for regulated entities, with a strong emphasis on the UAE and global compliance expectations. We are building an intuitive, regulator-ready product that balances complex compliance logic with clean, user-friendly UX. This role is critical in shaping how compliance professionals interact with the platform. Scope of Work We are looking for a Front-End & UX Developer who can own both UI implementation and UX thinking. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing user interfaces for: ➤Customer onboarding (Individual & Corporate) ➤Name screening and watchlist results ➤Risk scoring visualizations ➤Audit-ready reports 🔹Translating wireframes and workflows into responsive front-end components 🔹Improving usability of compliance-heavy screens without oversimplifying logic 🔹Ensuring layouts support audit trails, data clarity, and regulator expectations 🔹Collaborating closely with the product owner to refine workflows and interactions Required Skills: 🔹Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks (React preferred) 🔹Solid understanding of UX principles for data-heavy applications 🔹Experience designing dashboards, tables, forms, and workflows 🔹Ability to handle complex state, conditional logic, and validations 🔹Strong attention to detail (alignment, spacing, hierarchy, consistency) 🔹Familiarity with responsive and cross-browser design Nice to Have (Strong Advantage): 🔹Prior experience with RegTech, FinTech, SaaS, or compliance platforms 🔹Experience designing for AML, KYC, screening, or risk management tools 🔹Understanding of compliance user personas (analysts, reviewers, auditors) 🔹Experience working with design systems or component libraries 🔹Familiarity with charts, gauges, and risk visualization patterns What We Care About? 🔹Practical UX over flashy visuals 🔹Clarity over creativity when it comes to compliance data 🔹Ability to think like an end-user (compliance analyst, MLRO, auditor) 🔹Willingness to iterate and refine based on feedback Deliverables: 🔹Implemented front-end screens aligned with agreed UX flows 🔹Reusable UI components 🔹Clean, maintainable front-end code 🔹UX improvements documented or explained where relevant To Apply: Please include: 🔹A brief introduction 🔹Relevant portfolio or live projects (especially SaaS or dashboard work) 🔹Any experience with compliance, RegTech, or FinTech (if applicable) 🔹Your availability and estimated timeline Note: This is not a one-off design task.
