SMARTS Fault Management

EMC SMARTS / VMware SMARTS Developer We are looking for an experienced EMC SMARTS / VMware Smart Assurance Developer to support, enhance, and integrate a telecom fault-monitoring application. Responsibilities Develop enhancements and customizations in EMC/VMware SMARTS Support fault monitoring, alarm correlation, and root-cause analysis Integrate SMARTS with OSS/BSS and other network-management applications Develop scripts, APIs, and automation for monitoring workflows Troubleshoot application, alarm, topology, and integration issues Work with cross-functional teams using Agile, Waterfall, or DevOps methodologies What We Are Looking For Strong hands-on experience with EMC SMARTS, VMware SMARTS, or VMware Smart Assurance Experience with SMARTS SAM, Domain Manager, fault correlation, SNMP traps, and topology discovery Good understanding of telecom networks and OSS/BSS applications Strong Linux/Unix Shell scripting knowledge Experience with Perl, Python, PL/SQL, Java, REST, or SOAP Knowledge of ASL scripting is highly preferred Experience with microservices, containers, or Kubernetes is an advantage Please share your years of SMARTS experience, modules worked on, and details of one recent SMARTS implementation or enhancement project.
