About Us We run life-changing adventure experiences around the world, from Iceland and Nepal to remote island expeditions. We are a small, fast-moving company with ambitious growth plans and we're looking for a long-term technical partner to take ownership of our digital infrastructure. This is not a typical freelance development role. We're looking for someone who can become the technical backbone of the business, taking over the day-to-day management, maintenance, improvement, and documentation of our systems. The Role You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our customer-facing systems, websites, integrations, and automations. Some months there may be significant work as we launch new adventures, build new features, or improve customer journeys. Other months may require only a few hours of maintenance and support. Occasionally we need issues resolved quickly, so responsiveness and reliability are extremely important. Responsibilities -Website Management -Maintain and update WordPress websites -Build and modify pages using Bricks Builder -Add and update adventure events and landing pages -Ensure sites remain fast, secure, and reliable -Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues -Integrations & Automation -Manage Stripe integrations and checkout flows -Maintain MailerLite automations and forms -Troubleshoot tracking and lead generation systems -Connect and maintain third-party tools and APIs -Improve business processes through automation -Development -Build new features as required -Improve booking and customer workflows -Create custom functionality when needed -Review existing systems and suggest improvements Documentation -Fully document all technical systems -Create and maintain process documentation -Record how integrations work -Ensure another competent developer could understand and maintain the system if required Technical Support -Respond to urgent issues when they arise -Investigate and resolve bugs -Support the team during launches and busy periods Essential Skills -Strong WordPress experience -Strong Bricks Builder experience -HTML -CSS -PHP -JavaScript -Stripe integrations -MailerLite -API integrations -Website performance optimisation -Troubleshooting and debugging Nice to Have -Marketing automation experience -CRM integrations -Conversion optimisation -Experience with travel or event businesses -Familiarity with AI tools and workflow automation What We're Looking For We're not looking for someone to simply complete tasks.
