AI / Automation Engineer – Build an Automated Financial Data-to-Report Pipeline

We're building a financial information product for retail investors and are looking for a freelancer (or small team) who can design, build, and operate an automated pipeline that: Pulls raw financial data (e.g. company quarterly financials) from a data provider or public sources Feeds this data through an AI/LLM-based process that analyzes the numbers in context, including the relevant market environment Produces a consistent, easy-to-understand written output in a fixed format Runs reliably and repeatably across a large number of companies, on a recurring (e.g. quarterly) basis Includes some form of automated quality control / verification step before the output is finalized This is meant to become an ongoing automated system, not a one-off script. We're looking for someone who can both architect it and actually implement/operate it going forward. Because we want to hire someone who genuinely knows this space, please include in your proposal (a written outline is enough, not full production code): A short explanation of how you would approach designing a pipeline like this (data sourcing, LLM/agent orchestration, the verification step, output handling) Relevant past projects — structured data + AI content generation, financial data pipelines, or comparable automation work Your rate (hourly or per milestone) and a rough estimate for delivering a working pilot on a small sample set Nice to have: Experience with financial/fundamental data APIs Experience with multi-step or "agentic" LLM workflows (LangChain, custom orchestration, or similar) Willingness to sign a short NDA before going deeper into specifics We're not looking for the cheapest bid — we're looking for someone who can clearly explain their approach and has built something comparable before.
