Brett Jansen runs two businesses: a GTM advisory firm serving PE and VC-backed healthcare technology companies, and an AI education and enablement business serving C-suite and senior revenue leaders. Client demand has outpaced one person's build capacity. This role is the technical build arm behind active client engagements: you construct the AI infrastructure, Brett delivers it.
What you will own
Productized GitHub repos. Design, document, and maintain GitHub repositories that package our client delivery systems as repeatable products: prompt libraries, Claude Project configurations, workflow templates, and setup scaffolding, version-controlled so they can be cloned and customized per client instead of rebuilt from scratch.
Enterprise workflow design. Map and build AI workflows for enterprise clients whose IT environments restrict integrations: no open API access, locked-down connectors, SSO-gated tools, and strict data movement rules. You design around the constraint, not through it.
Platform integrations. Connect ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms to GitHub and adjacent systems using native connectors, APIs, and GitHub Actions. Document every connection so a non-technical operator can maintain it.
Client build support. Execute behind-the-scenes build work for active engagements: Claude Project setup, prompt library construction, workflow automation, data prep, and documentation. Work is assigned per engagement with clear specs and deadlines.
Documentation. Everything you build ships with documentation clean enough that the client's internal owner, or the next contractor, can run it without you.
What this role is not
This is not a client-facing role. Client contracts require Brett personally for all delivery, training, and communication. You will never be on a client call or in a client's environment unsupervised. You build in our environment; Brett transfers and delivers.
This is not a content, marketing, or admin role. Those lanes are owned by other team members.
This is not a set-your-own-roadmap role in month one. Work arrives as scoped build requests.
Autonomy expands as trust is earned.
Who this fits
1. You work in Git and GitHub daily: branching, repo structure, README-driven documentation, Actions. You can show repos you have built and maintained.
2. You use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools as core infrastructure, including Projects, custom instructions, connectors, and API calls, not just chat.
3. You have built automations or integrations inside at least one restricted corporate environment and can explain how you handled the limitations.
4. You can script when the job calls for it: Python or similar for data prep, API calls, and GitHub Actions. You default to platform-native builds and reach for code only when configuration cannot get there, because everything you ship must be maintainable by a non-technical owner after handoff.
5. You write documentation people actually follow.
6. You are async-first, deadline-reliable, and comfortable with batched work assignments. Preference for 3-4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern time.
Confidentiality and IP
You will sign a contractor agreement with confidentiality and full IP assignment before accessing any work. Client materials are compartmentalized: you receive only what a given build requires, and client-confidential data never enters shared tooling. Our attorney reviews the agreement; this is non-negotiable and protects you as much as us.
