# Ongoing WordPress Developer/Designer for a Startup Founder — SEO, Analytics & Hosting (English-fluent, compatible time zone) ## Overview I'm the founder of an early-stage SaaS startup (contextuum.ai), and I also run a consulting and coaching practice with its own websites. Everything is on WordPress. I'm looking for a reliable, technically strong WordPress generalist to be my go-to site resource on an ongoing, as-needed basis. The work comes in bursts tied to deadlines — quiet for stretches, then intensive when something's launching — so I need someone comfortable with irregular, project-based work rather than steady weekly hours. As a founder, I have a startup budget: real work, fairly paid, but lean and outcome-focused, not agency rates. This isn't a build-one-site-and-leave job. I want a steady relationship with someone who learns my sites and gets faster over time. ## What you'd work on - WordPress site changes across several sites: page builds, theme/child-theme customization, plugin configuration and troubleshooting, custom CSS and light PHP - SEO/AEO via Rank Math: JSON-LD schema (FAQPage and others), sitemaps, meta configuration, redirects, fixing indexing issues and 404s - Hosting-level work: DNS, subdomain and SSL setup, .htaccess edits, caching, PHP version management, working in a hosting control panel and staging environment - Google Analytics (GA4): setup, conversion/event tracking, UTM campaign tracking, Search Console integration; Google Tag Manager a plus - Design: clean, on-brand landing pages and UI; responsive layouts; working from existing brand/logo assets and maintaining visual consistency - Occasional maintenance and updates on my existing consulting/coaching sites - Light embed work: posting a hosted chatbot frame/link onto a page (you don't build or manage it — just place and style it) ## Required - Demonstrable depth in WordPress beyond page-builder drag-and-drop — comfortable in the code and the hosting layer when needed - Hands-on Rank Math (or comparable: Yoast/SEOPress) including structured data - GA4 and tracking setup experience - Real design sensibility — a portfolio of pages/sites you've designed, not just maintained - Fluent, native-level English - A time zone within roughly UTC−6 to UTC+3 (this covers the central Americas through eastern Europe — I'm on US Eastern and need workable overlap) - A track record of reliable, proactive communication — this matters as much to me as technical skill ## Nice to have - AEO experience: getting sites indexed and surfaced by AI search engines (Perplexity, Brave, DuckDuckGo) - Experience across multiple sites for one client ## How I work - Tasks are scoped and defined; I'll give you clear specs so we both know what "done" means - Work is priced per project, not hourly — I'd rather pay for a clean outcome than for clocked time.
