WordPress and Server Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced technical support specialist to help maintain and troubleshoot multiple business websites on an ongoing basis. Our sites are built with WordPress and Elementor, hosted on Namecheap, and our business email is also hosted there. This is a long-term, hourly support role for website, hosting, server, email, and maintenance tasks as they arise. We need someone experienced, responsive, and available during normal business hours in the Eastern Time Zone. What you will do • Provide ongoing WordPress and Elementor support. • Manage routine website maintenance and updates. • Update WordPress core, plugins, and themes safely. • Troubleshoot website errors, layout issues, and plugin conflicts. • Support multiple websites hosted on Namecheap. • Handle hosting, server, and email-related issues. • Help diagnose and resolve hosting limitations and resource issues. • Assist with backups, restores, and general website upkeep. • Resolve DNS, SSL, and domain-related issues when needed. • Communicate clearly and promptly in English. Required experience • Strong WordPress troubleshooting and maintenance experience. • Elementor experience. • Hosting and server support experience. • Namecheap hosting experience. • Email hosting and mail troubleshooting experience. • Experience managing updates, plugins, and compatibility issues. • Knowledge of common hosting limits and server resource constraints. • DNS and domain management knowledge. • SSL troubleshooting experience. • Backup and restoration experience. • Strong written English communication. • Reliable response times during business hours. Nice to have • FTP/SFTP experience. • Site migration experience. The ideal candidate is someone who can handle both reactive support and proactive maintenance. You should be comfortable solving issues as they arise, as well as managing routine updates and keeping websites healthy and stable over time. We want someone dependable, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly without a lot of back-and-forth.
