Senior PHP Developer for Long-Term Project

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer for a long-term project in a small international team. You will be working on a complex backend system that is already in production. Your Responsibilities: - Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve our self-developed system - Maintain and extend integrations with third-party APIs - Proactively bring improvement suggestions and optimizations - Implement new features from our product team - Translate business requirements into technical specifications - Communicate your work clearly with non-technical product team members - Familiarity with Kanban or similar task tracking methods - Work independently with minimal supervision Required Experience: - Excellent knowledge of PHP and MVC frameworks (ideally Yii2) - Strong experience with MySQL, RESTful APIs, JSON, XML - Solid understanding of OOP principles - Experience with GIT version control - Comfortable working in Linux-based development environments - Fluent written and spoken English (required for daily communication with international team) Nice to Have: - Experience with traffic handling systems or advertising platforms - Knowledge of Python and/or Node.js (we use Lambda functions in both for build processes) - Experience with AWS (especially Lambda) - Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS - Background in algorithm development and optimization
