We're a boutique digital marketing agency that has built and launched an AI-powered paid media management platform for our clients. The foundation is solid - autonomous AI agents analyse campaign data, flag anomalies, recommend budget shifts, and generate creative briefs across Meta and Google Ads, with a real-time client portal pulling everything into one dashboard.
We need someone sharp to help us finish the last 20%, harden it, and scale it from a handful of clients to many.
The Stack
Backend/Database: Convex (serverless functions, real-time DB)
Frontend/Hosting: Vercel + Vite (React)
AI/LLM: Anthropic Claude (via API) powering autonomous agent workflows
Integrations: Meta Ads API, Google Ads API, Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo
Agent scripts: Python, scheduled via cron, reading/writing to the database

What We Need
Workflow architecture: Design and improve multi-agent workflows - agents that analyse, decide, and act across ad platforms without manual intervention.
API security & compliance: You understand how to connect AI systems to Meta and Google Ads APIs safely - rate limits, token management, approval flows, and guardrails that prevent account suspensions.
Refinement & hardening: The MVP works. We need better error handling, edge case coverage, onboarding automation for new clients, and reliability at scale.
Scaling: Make the system multi-tenant-ready so onboarding a new client is fast and repeatable.
AI-native thinking: You don't just write code - you think about how to make AI do the heavy lifting. Prompt engineering, agentic patterns, structured outputs.
You Are
Experienced with LLM APIs (Claude, GPT, etc.) in production - not just prototyping.
Strong in Python and comfortable with serverless architectures (Convex, Supabase, Firebase, or similar).
Familiar with Meta Ads API and/or Google Ads API (or quick to learn with solid API experience).
Security-conscious - you know why API tokens, rate limits, and audit trails matter.
A fast, autonomous worker. We move quickly and need someone who can own tasks end-to-end.
Based in a timezone that overlaps with AEST (Australia) for at least a few hours.
Not Required But a Plus
Experience with Convex specifically
Experience with ad tech or marketing automation
Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks (CrewAI, LangGraph, or custom agent loops)
Engagement
Start as a focused project (est. 4-6 weeks) with potential for ongoing work as the platform grows.
You'll work directly with the founder. Short feedback loops, no bureaucracy.
