Full Stack Engineer for social commerce native app

We’re looking for a strong full-stack mobile engineer to help build and ship a consumer fashion discovery app across iOS and Android. The product combines personalized fashion discovery with social and community features, including feeds, profiles, saved items, polls, notifications, designer content, and marketplace-style interactions. We need someone who moves with real urgency but has a very high bar for product quality, performance, and polished consumer UX. What you’ll do: - Build and ship mobile features across iOS and Android - Work across the stack as needed: mobile, APIs, backend, database, integrations, analytics, and notifications - Collaborate closely with the founder on product decisions, edge cases, and fast iteration - Own features from implementation through testing, release, and post-launch improvements - Help improve architecture while keeping the team moving quickly What we’re looking for: - Strong experience shipping consumer mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play - Experience with social, community, marketplace, commerce, content, or discovery products is highly preferred - Strong product and UX judgment—not just ticket execution - Comfortable with native development, or able to make a strong case for React Native while delivering a genuinely polished experience - Backend experience with tools such as Supabase, Firebase, Postgres, Node, serverless infrastructure, or similar - Experience with push notifications, analytics, authentication, crash reporting, app releases, and third-party integrations - Clear, proactive communication and comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment AI workflow: - We are specifically looking for someone who is highly fluent in AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar. - You should use AI to accelerate planning, debugging, testing, documentation, and implementation but still have the judgment to maintain clean, secure, reliable code.
