AI Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to help us streamline and automate operational workflows across our online education platform. Our organisation manages online courses, student support, marketing campaigns, lead communication, payments, academic administration, and internal team operations. We currently use multiple platforms including WordPress, Google Workspace, Google Sheets, Zoho, ClickUp, WhatsApp, Twilio, email marketing tools, Zoom, payment gateways, and internal databases. The selected Automation Engineer will review our existing workflows, identify repetitive manual processes, and develop reliable automations that improve efficiency, reduce errors, and create better visibility across teams. Key Responsibilities: * Review existing workflows across marketing, student support, academic administration, finance, and operations. * Identify manual and repetitive tasks that can be automated. * Build and maintain automations using Zapier, Make, n8n, APIs, webhooks, Google Apps Script, Python, JavaScript, or similar tools. * Integrate systems such as WordPress, CRM platforms, Google Sheets, email tools, WhatsApp, payment gateways, and internal dashboards. * Create automated lead capture, follow-up, student onboarding, course enrollment, payment confirmation, reporting, and notification workflows. * Develop dashboards and automated reports for management and team tracking. * Improve data flow between different tools and reduce duplicate data entry. * Document all automations clearly so our internal team can understand and manage them. * Troubleshoot automation failures, API issues, and integration errors. * Recommend scalable tools and systems for future automation needs. Required Skills: * Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, Integration Specialist, or Workflow Automation Developer. * Strong experience with Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar automation platforms. * Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and third-party integrations. * Working knowledge of Google Apps Script, Python, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages. * Experience integrating CRM systems, Google Workspace, WordPress, payment gateways, email tools, and communication platforms. * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand business processes. * Ability to communicate clearly and provide proper documentation.
