Backend Developer — Data Platform (2-Week Contract)

About the Project We're building a data intelligence SaaS that aggregates and structures signals from multiple public data sources into actionable scoring output. We need a backend developer to build the technical plumbing for our MVP. Engagement Details - 2-week engagement, starting immediately - 6 hours/day, Monday–Friday - Async work with daily check-ins What You'll Build - Database schema from a design doc we provide - n8n workflows wiring multiple Apify scraping actors into Supabase (PostgreSQL) - TypeScript Supabase Edge Functions computing weighted scoring formulas (defined in plain English by us) - A confidence-threshold routing system for an AI enrichment pipeline - Connection of a pre-built UI to live Supabase data Required - Demonstrable Supabase or PostgreSQL projects in your portfolio - REST API and JSON data transformation experience - Ability to work async with daily check-ins Nice to Have - n8n experience - Apify experience - Data pipeline / ETL background What You Won't Own - Product strategy - UX/UI decisions - AI prompt engineering - Business logic and scoring methodology This is a technical execution role. We own all product decisions and AI prompt content — we need someone who executes cleanly and communicates clearly when something isn't working.
