Full Stack Developer (Fintech)

Full-Stack Software Engineer **About the Role** We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our founding team and help build, an innovative a fintech platform. This is an opportunity to work on a greenfield product from the ground up, building a secure, scalable, and modern fintech platform that enables users to grow their investments. You will work closely with the founders to design, develop, and deploy the platform, taking ownership of both frontend and backend development while contributing to architecture, cloud infrastructure, security, and product decisions. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, build, and maintain a modern web application from concept to production. * Develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces using React and Next.js. * Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python (FastAPI). * Design and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL. * Integrate third-party services including identity verification (KYC/KYB), payment processing, banking, authentication, email, and document management APIs. * Implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access control. * Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code. * Build CI/CD pipelines and automate testing and deployments. * Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, and founders to deliver new features. * Ensure the platform meets high standards for security, reliability, performance, and scalability. * Participate in architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices. **Required Skills** * Strong experience developing full-stack web applications. * React and Next.js. * Python and FastAPI (or similar backend frameworks). * PostgreSQL or other relational databases. * REST API design and integration. * AWS cloud services. * Docker and containerized development. * Git and modern development workflows. * Experience with authentication, authorization, and application security. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. **Nice to Have** * Experience building fintech, proptech, banking, investment, or marketplace platforms. * Experience integrating KYC/KYB providers. * Experience with payment platforms such as Stripe. * Knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Cognito, API Gateway, and CloudWatch. * Terraform or AWS CDK. * Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues. * Experience building highly scalable SaaS platforms. * Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, or PIPEDA. **What You'll Build** You will help build features including: * User registration and authentication * Investor onboarding * Identity verification (KYC) * Property listings and investment opportunities * Investor dashboards * Digital document signing * Payment and wallet integrations * Administrative portal * Notifications and reporting * Secure document management * Analytics and monitoring **Ideal Candidate** We're looking for someone who enjoys building products from scratch, takes ownership, and is excited to work in an early-stage startup environment.
