Position Overview
The Technology Operations Coordinator serves as the operational liaison between Technology, Customer Support Operations, and Business Leadership.
This role is responsible for ensuring technology projects, development cases, support tickets, enhancement requests, and operational initiatives progress efficiently through the development lifecycle. The position will oversee process compliance, project follow-up, documentation standards, operational testing, stakeholder communication, and business validation of completed work.
The primary objective is to improve accountability, project throughput, and communication while reducing executive and operational management involvement in day-to-day technology project administration.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor all active technology projects, enhancement requests, and development cases
Ensure cases are properly documented, updated, assigned, and progressed according to departmental standards
Follow up with developers and stakeholders regarding outstanding items
Ensure all required comments, status updates, and documentation are completed
Escalate stalled, aging, or blocked projects
Coordinate communication between Technology and Operations teams
Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) following QA completion
Validate that business requirements have been met before deployment approval
Provide operational feedback on completed functionality
Answer developer questions regarding business requirements and operational processes
Track release schedules and deployment readiness
Maintain project documentation and status reporting
Prepare recurring project status summaries and executive reporting
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field required
Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in technology operations, project management, business operations, software development coordination, or related fields
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong understanding of project management methodologies
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working directly with software development teams
Experience with PHP, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, web technologies, and software architecture concepts
Ability to read and understand code for troubleshooting and requirement validation purposes
Experience with bug tracking, QA workflows, and release management
Familiarity with eCommerce, customer support systems, CRM platforms, and operational software environments
