web codebase audit and debug Perform a professional codebase audit of the Dalify project. Act as a senior staff engineer conducting a pre-investment/pre-scale technical due diligence review. SCOPE 1. Architecture & Structure - Map the overall architecture (layers, modules, data flow) - Identify architectural anti-patterns, tight coupling, circular dependencies - Assess scalability of the current design 2. Code Quality - Identify dead code, duplicated logic, overly complex functions - Flag inconsistent naming, styling, or patterns across the codebase - Check adherence to the language/framework's idiomatic conventions 3. Security - Check for hardcoded secrets, API keys, or credentials - Review auth/authorization logic for gaps - Flag injection risks, unsanitized inputs, unsafe deserialization - Check dependency versions for known CVEs 4. Testing - Report current test coverage (unit/integration/e2e) - Identify critical paths with no test coverage - Assess test quality (not just presence) 5. Performance - Flag N+1 queries, unbounded loops, unnecessary re-renders, memory leaks - Identify missing caching/indexing where relevant 6. Dependencies - List outdated, deprecated, or unmaintained packages - Flag unused dependencies 7. Documentation & Maintainability - Assess README, inline comments, and onboarding docs - Note any missing environment/config documentation DELIVERABLE Produce a written report (AUDIT.md) with: - Executive summary (overall health score/grade + top 5 risks) - Findings organized by category above, each tagged Critical/High/Medium/Low - File paths and line numbers for every finding - Concrete remediation steps per finding, prioritized by risk and effort - A suggested action plan
