n8n Automation Expert for Webhooks

Summary: We are looking for a skilled automation developer to build a clean, reliable workflow in n8n (self-hosted). The goal is to capture incoming webhooks from a payment gateway, parse the payload, route a specific description field through OpenAI for text cleaning, and log the final structured data into an Airtable base. What we need: - Setup an optimal webhook trigger in n8n. - Implement error handling (sensible fallbacks if the external API or OpenAI times out). - Use OpenAI API (gpt-4o-mini) to extract clean customer names and categorize the transaction type based on a provided prompt. - Insert/Upsert the enriched data into a specific Airtable table with relational fields. Tech Stack: n8n, Airtable, OpenAI API, Javascript (for simple data transformation nodes if needed). Deliverables: - Exportable n8n workflow JSON file. - Short text documentation explaining the node setup. Timeline: 3–7 days.
