Senior backend developer for data processing application—Healthcare Industry

AlayaCare is looking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a critical healthcare data processing application. This role involves building robust, scalable backend services that handle complex data ingestion, processing, and integration with advanced analytical components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise-grade backend development within a regulated environment. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using .NET Core. • Implement data parsing and transformation logic for standardized healthcare data formats. • Integrate with AI/ML services for data classification and intelligent content generation. • Develop and manage workflow engines for tracking critical processes and deadlines. • Ensure data security and compliance with healthcare industry standards (e.g., HIPAA/BAA). • Collaborate with frontend developers and data scientists to define API contracts and system integrations. Required Skills & Experience: • 6+ years of experience in backend development with .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core. • Proficiency with PostgreSQL or SQL Server • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, including deployment and managed services. • Familiarity with background job processing frameworks (e.g., Hangfire). • Understanding of RESTful API design and service-to-service authentication. • Experience in healthcare IT or other regulated industries is a strong asset.
