Senior Full-Stack SaaS Developer for Safety Platform

Proactive Safety Solutions is seeking an experienced senior full-stack developer or small software development team to help design and build CROS, our proprietary Construction Risk Operating System. CROS is intended to help construction companies identify, evaluate, document, and manage operational and safety risks across projects. The platform will combine project risk assessments, workforce qualifications, safety observations, corrective actions, training records, field documentation, dashboards, and reporting within one secure system. The initial engagement will include product discovery, workflow mapping, technical recommendations, database planning, user-role development, and creation of a clickable prototype. Following approval, the selected developer may be retained to build the minimum viable product. Anticipated MVP features include: Company, project, employee, and subcontractor profiles Role-based user permissions Construction risk assessments and scoring JHA/JSA creation, review, and approval Daily safety observations and inspections Corrective-action assignment and tracking Employee training and certification records QR-code verification pages Photo and document uploads Management dashboards PDF and Excel report generation Mobile-responsive field forms Secure multi-company SaaS architecture Preferred qualifications: Demonstrated experience building SaaS platforms Strong full-stack development experience Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, .NET, or comparable technologies Experience designing relational databases Experience implementing role-based permissions and secure file storage Experience with dashboards, reporting, QR codes, and mobile-responsive applications Ability to translate business workflows into clear technical requirements Construction, safety, compliance, workforce-management, or field-service software experience is highly preferred Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or Power BI integration experience is a plus Applicants must provide examples of comparable platforms they personally developed, explain their role on each project, identify their proposed technology stack, and provide an estimated cost for the discovery and prototype phase. All work will be completed under a confidentiality and intellectual-property assignment agreement. Proactive Safety Solutions must retain ownership of all custom source code, designs, documentation, databases, workflows, and deliverables.
