Senior Full-Stack + DevOps Engineer — Launch-Hardening a CRE SaaS (FastAPI/React/Fly.io)

We have an existing commercial real estate underwriting/valuation web app that's feature-complete and needs a senior engineer to audit, upgrade, and harden it to commercial-launch quality. This is not a greenfield build — it's a launch-hardening engagement across the codebase and all operational integrations (hosting, deployment, services, security, observability). What you'll own: - Auditing and upgrading an existing full-stack codebase to production standards. - Hardening infrastructure and deployment: CI/CD, containerization, database ops, backups, staging/prod parity. - Locking down SaaS security: multi-tenant data isolation, auth, billing/webhooks. - Standing up observability and alerting so we launch with eyes on the system. Our stack: - Backend: Python 3.12, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy 2.0, Alembic - Frontend: React 18 + TypeScript + Vite - Infra/deploy: Fly.io, Docker, GitHub Actions CI/CD, PostgreSQL 16, object-storage backups (Cloudflare R2) - Security: multi-tenant isolation, Clerk/JWT/CSRF auth, Stripe billing + webhooks - Observability: Sentry, PostHog, alerting You should be: - A senior full-stack engineer with a strong DevOps/SRE lean — a launch-hardening specialist. - Someone who has taken SaaS products to production and is comfortable owning infra and security. - Independent, with strong written communication.
