Automation Developer — Lead Research & Data Aggregation Tool

Overview We're building a custom internal tool that automates our business development research process. Right now we do this manually and it's working, but we need it systematized and scaled. We're looking for an experienced developer who has built automated data collection and aggregation tools before and knows how to build something clean, reliable, and maintainable. This is a paid project with strong potential for ongoing work if the build goes well. What We're Building A backend tool that: Pulls publicly available business contact information (company name, decision-maker name, email, website, social handle) based on a defined set of criteria we provide Filters results against a set of rules (industry, business size, location, etc.) Outputs a clean, structured list (CSV or direct integration) on a daily cadence Runs on a schedule without manual input Handles deduplication so we're not surfacing the same contacts repeatedly You're a Fit If You Have: Experience building automated data aggregation or lead research tools Strong Python or Node.js skills Experience with task schedulers, clean data pipelines, and structured output A portfolio or examples of similar tools you've built (private projects are fine, just describe them) The ability to work independently and communicate clearly on progress Nice to Have: Experience integrating with email outreach platforms via API Experience with proxy rotation or request management for reliable data collection Experience building tools that run on a schedule (cron, cloud functions, etc.) To Apply In your proposal, please describe a similar tool you've built — what it collected, how it worked, and what tech stack you used.
