IT & Web Development Integrations Specialist

About the Role Calimingo Pools is looking for an IT & Web Development Integrations Specialist to work alongside our current IT team member, helping build and maintain the automations, integrations, and web/data systems that keep our operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who can jump into automation workflows, API integrations, and full-stack development from day one. What You'll Do Automations & API Integrations Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using tools like Zapier Integrate AI tools (including OpenAI APIs) into business processes to streamline operations Build scalable automation systems that reduce manual work across departments Troubleshoot and optimize existing automations and integrations Web & Data Solutions Develop and maintain custom internal tools and web applications Work across the full stack: PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS Manage and query data using PostgreSQL for reporting and analytics Integrate data from multiple sources into unified, reliable systems Cloud & Systems Manage self-hosted servers and cloud deployments (Vercel or similar) Maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker) Ensure reliable uptime and secure connections across integrated systems Collaboration Work side-by-side with our current IT specialist to divide and scale technical projects Communicate clearly with non-technical team members (project managers, ops, leadership) about technical solutions Document workflows and systems for team-wide visibility What We're Looking For Proven experience with Zapier, OpenAI/AI APIs, or similar automation platforms Full-stack development experience with PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS Working knowledge of PostgreSQL for data management and reporting Familiarity with DevOps/cloud tools: CI/CD, Docker, Vercel Comfort working in Agile environments Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, self-directed approach Bonus: experience with HubSpot, QuickBooks, or Bill.com integrations (not required — willingness to learn is key) Nice to Have Background in QA or software development (an eye for defect prevention and process improvement) Experience mentoring or working closely with other technical team members A track record of turning manual, repetitive processes into automated systems Why Calimingo Pools Calimingo Pools is a luxury custom pool and outdoor living design-build company serving Orange County, LA, and San Diego.
