Debug and Rewrite Python D-Bus Application on Raspberry Pi 3B+

We are seeking a skilled developer to refactor an open-source Python D-Bus application running on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and write boiler-plate example code for how to implement a GATT bluetooth driver in linux. Coding standards for this project are negotiable. The ideal candidate should have rich experience in troubleshooting Python applications, specifically in Linux environments, even done remotely over ssh tunnels.
