AI Systems Engineer for DTC Brand — Agents, Automations, Dashboards

We're a DTC brand doing high 6-figures/month in Meta spend. We need someone to build out our internal AI and automation stack. This isn't a prompt engineering role. I need someone who's actually built LLM agent systems in production for ecommerce ops. What we need built: • AI agents preloaded with copywriting/creative context that pull data from our winning ads + Shopify reviews, so team members can start working immediately without 20 min of context loading each session • Slack automations — status changes, review pings, revision flags routed to the right people automatically • Data dashboards — P&L, ad performance, KPI tracking (manual input where needed, integrated where possible) • Workflow orchestration between Claude, ClickUp, Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, Higgsfield, and other tools we use What you need to have: • Built LLM/agent systems in production, not tutorials or demos • DTC or ecommerce experience — you understand how creative teams, media buyers, and CS actually operate day to day • Comfortable with API integrations across marketing and ops tools • Can document what you build so the team can operate and extend it Not for you if: • No production experience building agents • Never worked with ecommerce/DTC operations • You only do prompt engineering, not systems Long-term contract very possible if the build goes well.
