Front-End Developer & Web Designer — Ad-Hoc / Ongoing

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer and Web Designer for ad-hoc projects across event websites and digital experiences. You'll be working directly with our team, so attention to detail — down to the last pixel — is non-negotiable. -------- About the Role -------- You'll take designs and concepts and bring them to life as clean, fast, responsive interfaces. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. We move quickly and expect someone who can hit the ground running with minimal back-and-forth. -------- What You'll Be Doing -------- Converting Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML/CSS/JS layouts across all screen sizes Implementing modern CSS techniques (Grid, Flexbox, animations, custom properties) Developing event websites that are visually on-brand and performant Optimising for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility Updating and maintaining website content as directed — we provide the copy and assets, you implement them accurately and promptly -------- What We're Looking For -------- Expert-level HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — you write clean, semantic, maintainable code Strong React skills and comfort with component-based app development A sharp eye for design — you notice when something is 2px off and you fix it without being asked Proven ability to translate a Figma file into a fully responsive layout, fast Solid understanding of UX principles and responsive design patterns Good communicator — reliable, responsive, and proactive -------- Nice to Have -------- Experience with event or entertainment brands Motion/animation work (CSS or GSAP) Basic knowledge of web performance optimisation (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, etc.) -------- Engagement Details -------- Type: Ad-hoc / freelance, with potential for ongoing collaboration Availability: Must be responsive and able to turn around tasks efficiently Portfolio required: Please include examples of responsive websites or UI work, especially anything built from a Figma file -------- If you're the kind of developer who takes pride in the details and genuinely cares how things look and feel — we'd love to hear from you.
