WooCommerce Performance Wizard (Senior WordPress Performance Expert)

We're looking for a true WooCommerce performance expert to diagnose and optimize a large, complex, business-critical WooCommerce website running on litespeed server using litespeed cache This is not a simple WordPress site, and it's not a job for someone whose solution is just "install a cache plugin." Our site has grown over many years and includes a large number of interconnected plugins, custom functionality, wholesale features, memberships, subscriptions, payment gateways, imports/exports, shipping integrations, affiliate systems, and custom code. Everything works together, so changes must be made carefully without breaking existing functionality. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving difficult performance problems and has the experience to work through a complicated WordPress ecosystem methodically. What We Need We need someone who can systematically identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks throughout the entire application. This includes: Deep profiling of PHP execution Finding slow plugins, hooks, filters, and callbacks Identifying expensive MySQL queries Profiling WooCommerce requests Improving frontend performance Improving backend/admin performance Optimizing checkout and cart performance Reducing unnecessary JavaScript and CSS Finding slow AJAX and REST API requests Reviewing scheduled tasks (WP-Cron) Optimizing LiteSpeed Cache configuration Reviewing object caching and OPcache Identifying third-party API bottlenecks Finding memory leaks and excessive CPU usage Making code-level optimizations where appropriate We're looking for measurable improvements—not guesses. Required Experience You should be comfortable using tools such as: Query Monitor Xdebug XHProf / XHGui Blackfire Tideways Chrome DevTools MySQL/MariaDB query analysis LiteSpeed Cache Redis or Memcached PHP-FPM tuning WordPress and WooCommerce internals You should understand how to profile code before making changes. Ideal Candidate You have optimized large WooCommerce stores before. You know how to trace performance issues through plugins, hooks, AJAX requests, database queries, JavaScript, and server configuration. You don't guess—you profile. You can explain why something is slow, not just recommend another optimization plugin. When Applying Please include: Examples of complex WooCommerce sites you've optimized.
