AI Engineer for Athena and OMOP

**AI Engineer – Clinical Code Retrieval / OMOP / Athena** We are looking for an AI Engineer to help build a clinical code retrieval and mapping system for healthcare data. The work involves mapping free-text clinical criteria such as “HbA1c above 6.5%” or “patients with Type 2 Diabetes” to the right clinical concepts and codes using OMOP, Athena, UMLS, LOINC, SNOMED, RxNorm, and related vocabularies. You should have experience with: * OMOP CDM and Athena vocabularies * Clinical code systems: SNOMED, LOINC, ICD, RxNorm * Vector search / semantic retrieval * LLM-based entity extraction and reasoning * Python backend development * Healthcare data or clinical research workflows The goal is to improve code retrieval accuracy across millions of clinical concepts and support automated patient-trial matching.
