Overview
We are a B2B SaaS company building and are hiring a contract Clay.com expert to design, build, and operate two demand-generation motions end-to-end:
An outbound campaign selling our to Salesforce Admins, DevOps leads, VP RevOps, and security leaders at mid-market and enterprise SFDC customers.
A parallel executive research program that runs short surveys (5 questions or fewer) to Salesforce executives on Agentforce, Data Cloud, and AI-agent adoption — used both for content and as a top-of-funnel warm-up motion.
You will own the Clay workspace, the enrichment stack, the AI personalization prompts (Claygent), the sending infrastructure, and the sequencer configuration. You will hand off warm replies to our internal sales team.
What You Will Own
•Clay workspace architecture: tables, sources, waterfalls, scoring, CRM write-back.
•ICP translation into Clay filters and Claygent research prompts.
•Waterfall email + phone enrichment across multiple providers (target 85–95% coverage).
•AI personalization (one AI-written line per contact, not full AI emails).
•Sending infrastructure: variant domains, SPF / DKIM / DMARC, inbox warm-up, deliverability monitoring.
•Sequencer setup and campaign operations in Instantly, Smartlead, HeyReach, or Clay Sequencer.
•Survey distribution: incentive design, 2-touch cadence, response collection into Salesforce.
•Weekly reporting on positive reply rate, meetings booked, cost per qualified lead.
Required Experience
•Minimum 2 years operating Clay.com in production — please share workspace screenshots or a Loom of prior builds.
•Documented case studies with positive reply rates above 3% and pipeline outcomes you can name.
•Deep waterfall enrichment experience across Findymail, Wiza, Enrow, Hunter, Icypeas, or equivalents.
•Fluency with Claygent (or comparable AI research agents) and prompt engineering — able to show real prompts, not templates.
•Sending infrastructure ownership: domain purchasing, SPF / DKIM / DMARC, warm-up, blacklist recovery.
•Sequencer expertise in at least two of: Instantly, Smartlead, HeyReach, Salesforge, Clay Sequencer.
•Salesforce CRM integration — pushing enriched leads with custom fields and closing the loop on replies.
•Comfort writing HTTP / JavaScript columns in Clay for custom API calls when native enrichments do not cover a signal.
Nice to Have
•Experience running B2B research or survey programs — not just pure sales outbound.
•Website deanonymization stack experience
•Third-party intent data integration
•Familiarity with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and CASL compliance for cold outbound.
Success Metrics (90 Days)
•Outbound: positive reply rate above 3%, at least X qualified meetings booked (to be scoped in kickoff).
•Survey: 100+ completed responses from named Salesforce execs across target segments.
•Data quality: enriched contact coverage above 85%, bounce rate below 3%.
•Infrastructure: zero primary-domain sends, all variant domains warmed and monitored weekly.
