We are looking for an experienced PrestaShop freelancer or small agency to rebuild our ecommerce website in a new hosting environment using a fresh installation of PrestaShop 9, instead of upgrading our current legacy store. Our current website is PanamaHatShop.com, built on PrestaShop 1.7.6.5. Since the store is old and may become unstable as hosting/server environments evolve, we want to create a clean new installation on Hostinger and rebuild the store properly using updated versions of the theme and required modules. The project will first be developed on a temporary domain/subdomain and later moved to the final production domain. Main scope Install a clean new PrestaShop 9 instance on Hostinger Install and configure the selected theme and required modules Rebuild the site structure, navigation, CMS pages and shopping cart logic Recreate the full current catalog and product structure Configure the store in 8 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese Rebuild SEO fields and ALT text in all 8 languages using AI Translation Preserve current friendly URLs where possible, or prepare proper redirects if needed Reconfigure shipping regions and shipping costs Configure and validate PayPal Migrate customers, customer addresses and historical orders Recreate and map the order statuses currently used in the store Perform full QA on temporary domain and launch on the final production domain Structure and optimize the site so Google can properly read, understand and surface the content in modern AI-powered search experiences, in addition to standard SEO best practices Current catalog details Approx. 20 products Product combinations with individual SKU for each combination Main combination logic: Size (8 sizes) + 3 ribbon colors Prices are currently the same across combinations No pricing differences by variation for now Today many combinations use the same product photo, but in the future we may want to assign images by ribbon color Pricing and currencies Base pricing must be managed in USD but the store must display product prices in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY and CNY All non-USD prices must be automatically converted from the USD base price Current theme and modules Current theme: Footwear Theme for PrestaShop 1.7 We may keep it or switch to a better theme if recommended We are open to paying for a better theme if clearly justified Current/required modules include: PayPal Export Order Manager Module by ETS-Soft (for custom columns and CSV export) SEO Audit Module by ETS-Soft Prestabay 1.8 for eBay integration Data to migrate Approx. 2,000 historical orders Approx. 500 registered customers Customer addresses Historical orders with proper status mapping Current order statuses used: Payment Accepted, Waiting for validation by PayPal, Shipped, Canceled, Refunded Important notes No tax rules are required inside PrestaShop pricing Products are sold from Ecuador and shipped internationally Destination-country duties and taxes are outside our pricing and are explained in the shipping policies Inventory is not currently managed and will not be managed in this project We do not need migration of messages, coupons or PDF invoices Password migration is optional and not required if too complex Attributes, combinations and friendly URLs are especially important and should match the current store as closely as possible CMS structure may change, but all important content and policy pages must remain available Current policy and informational content already exists in the required languages and must be properly rebuilt/configured The project should leave the store technically well organized because later we may launch a second premium hat store under the same PrestaShop ecosystem What we want from the freelancer Please include in your proposal: your PrestaShop experience your experience with multilingual ecommerce your recommended theme/module approach what parts of the work would be manual vs automated your proposed milestones, timeline and exclusions whether you recommend preparing this store for future multistore use or keeping the future premium store as a separate setup Commercial expectations We want a fixed-price proposal We want the project divided into milestones We expect clear deliverables for each milestone Any exclusions or assumptions must be clearly stated in the proposal
