AI Web Developer (Claude AI, Shopify & Dealer Portal Development) Job Type Long-Term / Ongoing About Us We are a growing motorcycle and powersports company looking for an experienced AI Web Developer to help us rapidly build and improve our internal systems. We already have a paid Claude AI account and want someone who knows how to use AI effectively to dramatically speed up development while maintaining high-quality code. Our goal is to build industry-leading dealer portals, customer portals, internal dashboards and automation systems. Responsibilities AI-Assisted Development * Use Claude AI and other AI tools to accelerate software development. * Build clean, scalable and well-documented applications. * Continuously improve development speed using AI-assisted workflows. * Recommend new AI tools and development processes. Dealer Portal Development Build and improve dealer portals including features such as: * Dealer login * Dealer dashboard * Product catalogue * Live inventory * Ordering system * Parts ordering * Warranty claims * Dealer pricing * Dealer documents * Dealer downloads * Shipping tracking * Notifications * Reporting * User permissions * Admin dashboard Shopify Development * Shopify theme customisation. * Shopify app integration. * Custom Shopify development. * API integrations. * Performance optimisation. * Customer and dealer functionality. System Integrations Experience integrating with platforms such as: * Shopify * Tradevine Inventory * Zendesk * Xero * Shipping and freight providers * Payment gateways * REST APIs * Webhooks * Third-party software Automation Build automations that reduce manual work by connecting our business systems together. Examples include: * Dealer orders * Inventory synchronisation * Warranty processing * Customer notifications * Shipping updates * Reporting dashboards * Internal workflow automation Weekly Report Provide a weekly report including: * Features completed. * Features currently in development. * Planned work for next week. * Bugs found and resolved. * Suggestions for improvements. * AI tools or workflows that could improve productivity. Required Skills * Strong web development experience. * Experience using Claude AI or similar AI coding tools. * Shopify development. * API integrations. * JavaScript. * HTML/CSS. * PHP, Node.js or similar backend experience. * SQL/database experience. * Git version control. * Excellent English communication. * Strong problem-solving skills. Bonus Skills * Tradevine experience. * Zendesk integrations. * Xero integrations. * AI workflow automation. * Experience building dealer portals, customer portals or B2B systems. * UI/UX design experience. * Performance optimisation. * Experience with cloud hosting and server management.
