Python Backend and AI Engineer

Summary: We are building an AI powered product and need an experienced Python backend and AI engineer to build and extend several parts of it. This is real production work, not a prototype. We need clean, reliable code, a sensible structure, and someone who can take a task from idea to shipped without overcomplicating it. What you will build: FastAPI backend with a new REST API and clean endpoints Matching PostgreSQL changes, including new tables, migrations, and the queries behind the endpoints A voice AI agent that can hold a real conversation over a call A workflow AI agent that can run a multi step task across tools and APIs A scraping tool that collects data from the web and writes it into a Google Sheet, cleaned and ready to use Proper environment configuration and clean documentation for handoff You are the right fit if you have: Strong Python and REST API experience, ideally with FastAPI Solid PostgreSQL, comfortable with schema design, migrations, and queries Hands on experience integrating the OpenAI API and building AI agents, both conversational and workflow style Experience with web scraping and the Google Sheets API Voice AI experience is a plus, for example Twilio and ElevenLabs Clean coding habits and a milestone based delivery style Deliverables: Working FastAPI backend with the new REST API and PostgreSQL changes Voice AI agent and workflow AI agent Scraping tool that feeds a Google Sheet Source code with a clean structure and documentation If you have done this before, show me a relevant project or GitHub repo.
