QA Automation Engineer (Playwright / React / Python)

QA Automation Engineer (Playwright / React / Python) We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain an automated testing platform for a multi-tenant application built with React and Python. This role is responsible for creating reliable end-to-end, integration, and UI automation that validates real user workflows while building scalable test infrastructure that integrates with our CI/CD pipeline. Responsibilities * Design and maintain a modern automated testing framework using Playwright and TypeScript. * Write comprehensive end-to-end tests covering critical business workflows. * Develop reusable page objects, fixtures, helpers, and custom testing utilities. * Create integration and API tests where appropriate. * Work closely with engineers during feature development to ensure high test coverage. * Identify regressions before production through automated validation. * Build reliable test environments using Docker and containerized services. * Configure and maintain self-hosted CI runners to execute automated test suites efficiently. Required Qualifications * Strong experience with Playwright. * Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript. * Experience testing modern React applications. * Experience working with Python web frameworks such as Django or FastAPI. * Strong understanding of REST APIs and API testing. * Experience testing authentication, authorization, permissions, and complex business workflows. * Experience with Docker and containerized development environments. * Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines. * Experience with GitHub Actions and self-hosted GitHub runners. * Strong understanding of modern web technologies including HTTP, WebSockets, cookies, local storage, authentication flows, and browser internals. * Experience writing maintainable, scalable, enterprise-quality test code. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with React 19 and modern React architecture. * Experience with Django REST Framework. * Experience with PostgreSQL. * Experience testing multi-tenant platforms. * Experience with Redis and Celery. * Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration. * Experience implementing visual regression testing. * Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG). * Experience with performance and load testing tools.
