Senior WordPress Developer Required – Complete Existing Ohio Theme Website

We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to take over an existing website project and rapidly complete the remaining work. Please note: This is NOT a new website build. The website has already been developed using the Ohio WordPress theme by a previous agency and has undergone further work by a second agency. Most functionality, pages, layouts, tracking, and integrations already exist. Unfortunately, progress has been slow and we are looking for a highly experienced developer who can quickly review the existing implementation, identify issues, complete outstanding tasks, and bring the project to a professional production-ready standard. Project Objective Complete the remaining website enhancements, fix bugs, improve responsiveness, optimise performance, verify tracking, and ensure all existing functionality works correctly. Key Responsibilities • Review the current website implementation • Audit existing code and theme customisations • Replace hardcoded elements with dynamic WordPress functionality where appropriate • Fix responsive design issues across desktop, tablet, and mobile • Improve page layouts and user experience • Resolve bugs and inconsistencies left by previous developers • Verify and fix existing GTM, GA4, Consent Mode and CookieYes implementation • Verify event tracking functionality • Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals • Configure and optimise SEO fundamentals • Complete and optimise existing content sections • Test all functionality thoroughly Important Most items within the scope already exist in some form. We are not looking for somebody to rebuild everything from scratch. We need somebody who can quickly assess the current implementation, identify what is complete, identify what still requires work, and efficiently finish the project.
