Senior Laravel Developer with API skills

We are seeking a highly experienced PHP Laravel developer to join our cloud solutions development team. This is a remote position based in India, working with our Australian IT solutions company to build and maintain enterprise-grade web applications and cloud-based systems. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework for our cloud solution platform Build and optimize RESTful APIs for integration with third-party services and internal systems Design and implement database structures using MySQL/PostgreSQL with focus on performance and scalability Collaborate with our Australian-based team through video conferencing and project management tools Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry best practices Perform backend and frontend testing to ensure optimal application performance Integrate Azure cloud services and manage deployment pipelines Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing applications Document development processes, architecture, and standard components Required Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience as a PHP Laravel developer Expert-level knowledge of PHP (object-oriented programming) and Laravel framework (version 8+) Strong experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL database design and optimization Proficiency in RESTful API development and third-party API integration Solid understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks Understanding of web security best practices and data protection Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure experience highly preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central integration or ERP systems Familiarity with Azure cloud services and infrastructure Knowledge of Redis, Nginx, and server management Experience with unit testing and test-driven development Previous experience working with Australian or international clients Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
