Shopware 6 Security Update and Technical Review

We are looking for an experienced Shopware 6 developer to perform a security update and technical review of our existing e-commerce store. Our shop is currently running on Shopware 6.6.10.6. The main goal is to safely update the system to the latest compatible and secure Shopware version while keeping the storefront and all existing functionality stable. Scope of work Review the current Shopware installation and server environment Check the installed Shopware version for known security vulnerabilities Review installed plugins and the active theme for update compatibility Create a full backup of the database and application files before starting Perform the Shopware security update Update Composer dependencies where necessary Update compatible plugins without introducing breaking changes Run Shopware migrations and rebuild the cache Check scheduled tasks and the message queue Test the storefront, administration panel, checkout, customer registration, payments, shipping methods, and email notifications Review application and server logs for errors after the update Fix minor compatibility issues directly related to the security update Provide a brief summary of the completed work and any remaining recommendations Important requirements Strong experience with Shopware 6.6 Good knowledge of PHP, Symfony, Composer, MySQL, Twig, and Shopware CLI commands Experience performing production Shopware updates Understanding of Shopware plugins, themes, scheduled tasks, and message queues Ability to minimize downtime and avoid data loss Clear communication and documentation The update should preferably be tested in a staging environment before being applied to production. Please include examples of similar Shopware updates you have completed and briefly explain your usual update process. This may lead to ongoing Shopware maintenance and development work.
