I am looking for a Python developer with expertise in GIS/Digital Mapping and Computer Vision to build a custom property lead-generation pipeline for the UK market.
The goal of the tool is to identify specific building characteristics (large, blank vertical facades) across targeted commercial routes in Manchester, UK.
Project Workflow & Requirements:
Data Pipeline: Connect to the official Google Street View API to evaluate location metadata and analyze street-level perspectives along a provided list of Manchester A-road coordinates.
Computer Vision Analysis: Process the image stream using an object detection model (such as YOLOv8/v11 or OpenCV). The model needs to analyze the building facades to detect large, continuous surfaces while filtering out buildings with heavy window density, obstructions, or complex architecture.
Compliance Filters: Cross-reference the coordinates with open UK heritage databases to ensure flagged locations are not Grade II listed.
Output: Structure the validated data into a clean Google Sheet containing the Street View coordinates, address, and a link to the UK Land Registry.
Milestones:
Milestone 1 ($200): Successful API pipeline development and routing configuration.
Milestone 2 ($200): Computer Vision logic integration and Google Sheets output optimization.
