Python Developer – Trading Signal (Signaler v2)

The Role We need a skilled Python developer to manage Signaler v2, a standalone application whose sole purpose is to reliably extract real-time trading signals and forward them as structured JSON payloads to our core GTS-V2 crypto trading engine. Current Status: Refactor or Rebuild Our legacy codebase (Signaler v1) is currently functional and actively working, but it requires tweaking, optimization, and better edge-case handling. You will have the autonomy to choose the best path forward: refactor and optimize the existing V1 code, or build V2 completely from scratch if you prefer a cleaner, more robust architecture. Core Requirements Python Scrpg/Auto. Mation: Strong hands-on experience with tools like Playwright, Selenium, or BeautifulSoup to reliably capture web data. Data Parsing & APIs: Ability to clean, validate, and execute low-latency POST requests to our Django REST endpoints. System Resilience: Must implement strict error-handling, detailed logging, and auto-recovery mechanics to ensure 24/7 uptime without silent crashes. Version Control: Strict adherence to Git workflows using GitHub Issues and Pull Requests.
