Next.js Prototype Developer

I am a psychiatrist trying to build **Therapy in My Language** — a platform that matches clients with licensed U.S. therapists who speak the language their feelings live in ( English, Spanish, Mandarin and others). This is not an idea on a napkin. There is a **working Next.js prototype** you will build on: a guided matching questionnaire, a deterministic scoring engine with a full test suite, a gamified intake journey, therapist profiles and directory, and a documented product spec (PRD/FSD/Tech Spec) that tells you exactly what to build and why. You'd be the first engineer, working directly with me. **What you'll build first (Phase A, 3~4 weeks)** - Migrate therapist data from JSON to **Postgres (Supabase)** with row-level security, keeping the existing matching engine intact (it's a clean, tested JS module) - **Therapist onboarding flow**: structured intake form → admin verification queue (license checks) → profile goes live - **Stripe subscriptions** for therapist listings (flat monthly fee, self-serve cancel, webhook-driven listing state) - **Client accounts (optional-login)** and a "request intro" flow so contact happens on-platform - Event instrumentation from day one (match shown → viewed → contacted) — our data model quality now determines our ML capability later, so I care that you think in clean schemas **Phase B (if we're a good fit, ~1–2 months after)**: an LLM-based bilingual intake companion (English/Mandarin) with a strict safety layer — crisis routing, no-diagnosis boundaries — plus a personality-snapshot feature. Experience with LLM APIs is a plus but not required to start. **Tech stack** Next.js 14 (App Router) · React · Postgres/Supabase · Stripe · Vercel · LLM APIs later.
