Basic AI Chatbot Setup for Website (PDF Knowledge Base)

Hi, I’m looking for a developer to help me set up a simple AI chatbot for my website. This is a small project to improve customer support and reduce repetitive questions. The chatbot should use OpenAI API and be able to answer questions based on a PDF file that I will provide (product/service information). What I need: * Setup OpenAI API integration * Create a simple chatbot interface for website embedding * Use 1 PDF as a knowledge source (basic RAG setup or similar approach) * Store chat conversations (simple database or logging) * Help with basic deployment so it can run on my hosting Important Notes: * This is a small MVP project, not a complex enterprise system * Budget is fixed at $100 * Code should be simple and maintainable * No advanced dashboard required at this stage Ideal Freelancer: * Experience with OpenAI API * Basic RAG / document-based chatbot experience * Comfortable with Node.js, FastAPI, or similar backend * Can deploy simple web apps Deliverables: 1.
