ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced PHP/CMS developer to join our team for a large-scale, enterprise-grade web portal project. The portal will serve a high volume of users, support bilingual content (English + regional language), integrate with multiple backend systems, and meet strict government-grade security and accessibility standards. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON Custom module and plugin development on Drupal (preferred) or WordPress Build and expose REST APIs for third-party system integrations Integration with multiple existing backend applications via APIs Role-based access control (RBAC) for multiple user types and permission levels Auto-archival system with scheduled content expiry and retrieval Security hardening — OWASP compliance, SQL injection, XSS, session protection Multilingual CMS setup with language-specific URL handling Custom Twig/PHP theme templates including multiple theme variants AI-powered chatbot integration for automated user query handling Dashboard and infographics integration using open-source tools Google Maps and analytics API integration Technical documentation — SRS, SDD, test cases, user manuals Bug tracking via Jira/Mantis; UAT support and defect resolution Cloud deployment, DR configuration and post go-live support SKILLS REQUIRED Core (mandatory) PHP 8.x Drupal 9/10 or WordPress Twig templating Custom module/plugin dev MySQL / PostgreSQL REST API development Security OWASP top 10 WCAG 2.1 compliance SSL / data encryption Two-factor auth (OTP) Security audit readiness Integrations Google Maps API Google Analytics SMS & email gateways GIS / spatial data Third-party APIs Good to have Large-scale portal exp.
