Mobile Architect — Code & Architecture Review

We're looking for a senior Mobile Architect to conduct an independent review of a production TypeScript monorepo and deliver a prioritised assessment of code quality, architecture, scalability, and security. This is a short-term review/advisory engagement, not ongoing feature work. The stack: Mobile: React Native 0.81 / React 19, Expo SDK 54, Expo Router, Zustand, expo-sqlite (offline-first), Mapbox navigation, MQTT, custom native Expo modules & config plugins Backend: Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, Queues, R2/KV — offline-first sync architecture with idempotency and retry/recovery Portal: React 18 + Vite + Tailwind Tooling: TypeScript end-to-end, Jest + Vitest, k6 load testing, GitHub Actions CI + EAS Build CD You'll review: architecture & sync design, code quality & maintainability, scalability/performance, security, and the native build/release pipeline — delivering a written report with actionable recommendations. You should have: architect-level React Native + Expo experience, strong TypeScript, serverless/edge architecture expertise (Cloudflare or equivalent), a solid grasp of offline-first/sync patterns, native module experience, and mobile security best practices.
