Senior Frontend Developer for SEO & Analytics

We are a UK-based fintech platform focused on helping consumers improve their financial wellbeing through a combination of credit-building and a consumer discount marketplace. We have already built our core platform and work with an existing backend developer. We are now looking for an experienced frontend-focused developer to help us optimise the customer experience, improve discoverability, increase conversions, and support the next phase of growth. This is initially a project-based role, with the potential for an ongoing relationship as we move into mobile app development. What We Need Help With 1. Technical SEO & AI Discoverability Review the current website architecture and rendering Diagnose and resolve issues preventing Google crawlers and AI search engines from properly indexing website content Improve crawlability, structured data and overall search visibility Implement SEO best practices 2. Website Refresh & Frontend Enhancements Deploy an existing website refresh that has already been designed Improve user experience and website performance Implement frontend enhancements and ongoing improvements Ensure a responsive and high-performing experience across desktop and mobile 3. Analytics & Conversion Optimisation Configure and optimise Google Analytics 4 Set up Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console Implement end-to-end conversion tracking Track user acquisition, registrations, onboarding and marketplace engagement Provide recommendations to improve conversion rates and user journeys 4. Discount Marketplace & User Experience Support and optimise our consumer-facing discount marketplace Improve customer journeys from sign-up through to marketplace engagement Help identify opportunities to increase user activation and retention 5. Future Mobile App Development Following completion of the website work, we intend to begin development of a mobile app and would be interested in working with someone who can support this next phase. Current Setup Please note: We already have a backend developer and functioning platform. The backend infrastructure, APIs and core functionality are already built. We are looking for someone to focus primarily on the frontend experience, technical SEO, analytics, conversion optimisation and future app development. You will work alongside our existing technical resources.
