AI Automation / MCP Developer Needed to Connect Claude with Business Tools

I am looking for an experienced automation developer who can help me set up advanced AI workflows around Claude. The goal is to create a secure setup where I can use Claude as an operational assistant across multiple businesses and projects. I want Claude to be able to access and work with different tools such as: Multiple Google Workspace / Gmail accounts Google Calendar Google Drive / Docs / Sheets Multiple Shopify stores E-commerce data and dashboards Possibly other tools later, such as Slack, Notion, project management tools, accounting tools or marketplace systems The idea is that I can use Claude to view business data, summarize information, manage emails, analyze Shopify performance, check orders, update product information, create reports, manage tasks and eventually perform approved actions across different accounts. I am not looking for a simple Zapier setup only. I am looking for someone who understands API integrations, secure authentication and ideally MCP servers / Claude custom connectors. What I want to build A secure automation layer between Claude and several business tools. For example: Claude ↓ Custom MCP server / automation layer ↓ Google accounts, Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Shopify stores, etc. Claude should be able to use tools like: Read and summarize Gmail inboxes Draft emails or replies Search Google Drive documents Read and update Google Sheets Check Google Calendar availability Retrieve Shopify products, orders and inventory Analyze Shopify sales performance Update Shopify product descriptions, SEO fields or metafields after approval Compare performance across multiple Shopify stores Create reports for different businesses/projects In the first phase, I want to start mainly with read-only access and controlled workflows. Later, we can expand to write actions, but only with clear approval steps. Important requirements Security is very important. I do not want someone who simply asks for passwords or builds something unsafe. The setup should use proper methods such as: OAuth where needed Secure API tokens Environment variables / secret management Limited permission scopes Logging of actions Approval flow for sensitive actions Clear separation between different companies/projects/accounts No unnecessary access to private or sensitive data For example, Claude should never randomly change Shopify prices, send emails or edit business data without confirmation. Preferred experience I am looking for someone with experience in: Claude / Anthropic MCP or custom connectors API integrations Google Workspace APIs Gmail API Google Calendar API Google Drive / Docs / Sheets APIs Shopify Admin API Node.js / TypeScript or Python OAuth authentication Secure backend development Automation architecture Multi-account / multi-client setups Experience with tools like Zapier, Make, n8n or Pipedream is useful, but I prefer someone who can also build a more custom and scalable solution. First milestone For the first milestone, I would like to start small: Connect Claude to one Shopify store in read-only mode Create basic tools such as: get products get recent orders check inventory summarize store performance Connect one Gmail or Google Workspace account in read-only mode Allow Claude to summarize emails or search documents Document the setup clearly so it can be expanded to more accounts later If this works well, the next phase will be to connect multiple Shopify stores and multiple Google accounts. Long-term goal The long-term goal is to create a personal AI operations system that helps me manage several companies and projects from Claude. This can include: E-commerce operations Email management Reporting Shopify management Calendar planning Document search Task management Business dashboards Automated workflows Controlled AI actions with approval I am looking for someone who can think with me, advise on the best technical setup and build this in a secure, scalable way.
