We are looking for a skilled Next.js frontend developer to help refine and improve the UI of an existing e commerce website. The core system is already built, so this is not a full development project. It is a focused effort on polishing the experience, fixing inconsistencies, and making everything feel clean and professional.
Scope of Work:
You will improve the overall UI and UX across the website. You will fix frontend bugs and inconsistencies. You will ensure responsive design across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices. You will improve layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy. You will apply the provided branding, color schemes, and design references. You will enhance key components such as product pages and checkout. You will also optimize frontend performance where needed.
Key Areas:
The main focus is on product listing and product detail pages. The checkout UI needs improvement. Navigation and layout must be consistent across the website. The WhatsApp button must be clearly visible and properly placed on all pages.
Tech Stack:
The project is built with Next.js and React. Styling is handled using Tailwind CSS or the existing styling system.
Requirements:
You have strong experience with Next.js and React. You have a good eye for UI and UX design, which is very important for this role. You can quickly understand an existing codebase. You are experienced in fixing frontend bugs efficiently. You write clean and maintainable code.
Nice to Have:
You have experience working on e commerce frontends. You are familiar with performance optimization. You have a basic understanding of backend APIs for integration fixes.
Project Type:
This is a short term project with a small to medium scope. There is potential for long term collaboration if things go well.
To Apply:
Please include your GitHub profile link. Please share your relevant portfolio or projects, especially UI improvements with before and after examples if possible. Please include your Next.js work. Let us know your availability and your estimated time to review the project and start improvements.
