Looking for a Next.js/Node.js Developer to Build a Dashboard

We are seeking an experienced backend developer to build the backend for a Task Management System MVP. The primary objective is to develop a secure, scalable, and well-structured REST API that will integrate with an existing frontend application. The initial scope includes user authentication, project management, and task management. Users should be able to create accounts, authenticate securely, manage projects, invite team members, create and assign tasks, update task statuses, set priorities and due dates, and collaborate through task comments. The backend should also expose endpoints for a basic dashboard, providing task summaries and project-level statistics. The solution should be built using Node.js (Express or NestJS preferred) with PostgreSQL as the database. Experience with Prisma ORM is a plus. The codebase should follow industry best practices, including proper validation, error handling, modular architecture, and clear API documentation to support future development. This engagement is focused on delivering a functional MVP rather than a complete enterprise platform. The project budget is $200 fixed, and successful delivery may lead to additional work as we continue expanding the product.
