Product Manager / Tech Lead

About us: Arika Tour & Travels is a 30-year-old IATA-accredited travel company based in Mumbai. We handle ~2,500 visas/year, 75+ B2B hotel room-nights/day, and serve a network of 500+ sub-agents across India. We are now building Arika Travel Systems — an in-house operations platform on Next.js 15 / React 19 / Supabase / WhatsApp Cloud API. What we need right now (Phase 2 — B2B Hotel Portal): We need a travel-domain developer who has actually integrated TBO, TripJack, or similar hotel/flight APIs before — not someone who will learn on the job. The portal is for our 500+ sub-agents to search, book, and manage hotel inventory at Arika-specific B2B rates. Scope of work: - TBO Holidays or TripJack hotel API integration (search, availability, book, cancel, voucher) - Agent wallet / credit system (pre-loaded balance, deduct on booking) - Booking management dashboard for agents - GST-compliant invoice auto-generation - WhatsApp notification to agent on booking confirmation - Admin panel for Arika staff to manage markup, inventory, agent accounts Tech stack (our existing): - Next.js 15 / React 19 / Tailwind CSS / shadcn/ui - Supabase (PostgreSQL + Edge Functions) - Razorpay for payments - WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta) - Vercel deployment Longer term (Phase 3 — if this engagement goes well): - Corporate self-booking tool (SBT) for clients like CLSA and Suzlon - GDS integration: Amadeus or Travelport for live flight inventory - Approval workflows, travel policy engine, GST expense reconciliation What we're looking for: - You have shipped a real B2B or B2C travel portal with TBO/TripJack/Amadeus/Sabre before - You understand fare logic, PNR lifecycle, hotel content mapping, and rate plan structures - You can work with an existing Next.js / Supabase codebase — not starting from scratch - India-based preferred (Mumbai / remote both fine) - Available for 30+ hrs/week To apply: Tell us which travel APIs you have integrated, share one relevant project, and confirm your availability.
