Python Backend Developer for SaaS Platform (Django/FastAPI)

We're a growing SaaS company looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer to help build and scale our product. Responsibilities: Design and develop RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework and/or FastAPI Build and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas and queries Implement background task processing with Celery and Redis Handle API integration with third-party services (payments, auth, etc.) Deploy and manage services on AWS using Docker Collaborate with the frontend team (React/Next.js) on API contracts Requirements: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python, Django, and FastAPI Strong understanding of REST API and RESTful API design principles Experience with PostgreSQL, Celery, and Redis Familiarity with Docker and AWS deployment workflows Prior experience with SaaS products and web application development is a plus This is a long-term opportunity with potential for ongoing work as we scale.
